§ 47

Nothing could teach the physician in a plainer and more convincing manner than the above what kind of artificial morbific agent (medicine) he ought to choose in order to cure in a sure, rapid and permanent manner, conformably with the process that takes place in nature.

நோயை உறுதியாகவும், விரைவாகவும் மற்றும் நிரந்தரமாகவும் நீக்கவும்,    எந்த மாதிரியான செயற்கை நோயை உண்டாக்குகிற பொருளை (மருந்தை) தேர்ந்தெடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதைத் தெளிவாகவும் , சந்தேகத்திற்கு இடமில்லாமல் மருத்துவருக்கு கற்றுக் கொடுக்க மேலே காட்டிய இயற்கையின் வழிகாட்டுதலை  விட சிறந்தது வேறொன்றுமே இல்லை,
