Therefore disease (that does not come within the province of manual surgery) considered, as it is by the allopathists, as a thing separate from the living whole, from the organism and its animating vital force, and hidden in the interior, be it ever so subtle a character, is an absurdity, that could only be imagined by minds of a materialistic stamp, and has for thousands of years given to the prevailing system of medicine all those pernicious impulses that have made it a truly mischievous (non-healing) art.

ஆகவே, அலோபதிமுறை (ஆங்கில முறை) மருத்துவர்களால் நோய் ( கைகளால் செய்யப்படும் அறுவை மருத்துவ சிகிச்சைக்கு உட்படாத)  எனக்கருதுவது, முழுமையான உயிர் அசைவில் இருந்தும் , உறுப்பமைவில் இருந்தும் , உயிராற்றலால் தூண்டப்படும் உயிர்ப்பில் இருந்தும் , தனித்து வேறுபட்டதாகவும் , மிக நுணுகியும் , மறைந்து கிடக்கும் இயல்பை உடையதாகவும் இருக்கிறது என்பது சிறிதும் பொருந்தாதாகும். கண்ணால் கண்டதே மெய், மற்றதெல்லாம் பொய் என்று கருதும் கற்பனையான பொருள்முதவாத உள்ளப்பாங்கு உள்ளவர்களாலேயே அவ்விதம் நினைக்க முடியும். அத்தகையவர்களால் தான் அலோபதி வைத்திய முறை ஆயிரக்கணக்கான ஆண்டுகளாகப் பாழடிக்கப்பட்டு இன்று உண்மையிலே (குணப்படுத்தாமல் ) தீங்கிழைக்கும் கலையாகவும் உள்ளது.  .
